A dedicated NGO. Our organization specializes in fostering collaboration across the public, private, civil, and voluntary sectors, where dialogue and joint projects form the foundation of our work. We are committed to strengthening mutual understanding and enabling the sustainable co-creation of positive societal values and active civic engagement. We adopt a holistic approach to education. Our expertice areas aims to empower local communities as active agents of change in inclusive, sustainable, and democratic development. It responds to current needs in digitalisation, civic education, inclusion, and lifelong learning by strengthening the competences, participation, and resilience of local actors. It will support community engagement in areas such as voluntary work, green thinking, sustainable entrepreneurship, eco-tourism, and environmental sustainability. It will also promote adult learning methods, NEET support, and capacity building in ALE project design and management through courses, trainings, and exchange of good practices. By combining participation, sustainability, and learning, the project will help local communities develop stronger ownership, improve social cohesion, and create long-term impact at local and European level. With a diverse portfolio of professional services, NCLC specializes in delivering bespoke workshops and organizing engaging study visits that stimulate developmental dialogue. NCLC was established by Andrès López in 2021. The initiative was driven by a commitment to bring to and out of Norway, and to disseminate more broadly, best practices for positive local community development. After many years of experience and participation in various European cooperation initiatives, Andrès identified a range of valuable and promising practices that had not received the knowledge-sharing and recognition they deserved. It was all about building learning bridges between organizations, people, and public authorities, creating the conditions for co-developed skills, stronger competence, meaningful participation, and lifelong learning. At its heart, it was a vision of unlocking human potential and enabling it to flourish for the benefit of all.
